The club welcomed some new members along for this trip – staying at Ennerdale Youth Hostel. Perhaps the quietest area of the Lake District, it certainly felt like the wettest and windiest over this long weekend. It could not have rained any harder while we were scrambling up Haystacks. A lovely place to stay – we’d like to go back (especially in the sunshine).
