Every year MMC heads to Snowdonia in late November / early December for the most popular trip on the calendar. The 2022 edition was a real treat with spectacular winter conditions and perfect weather. Their base was the Snowdonia Mountain Hostel near Bethesda and Saturday’s walk took them up onto the lesser-travelled northern end of the Glyderau before returning to base for a huge Christmas dinner. Sunday’s weather was even better, and a climb up onto Glyder Fawr via Seniors Gully and Hidden Gully provided a fantastic first winter experience for some.
