The 2019 Christmas trip saw the club staying at Idwal Cottage Youth Hostel. Cold and frosty conditions on the Saturday were ideal for some winter scrambling up Y Gribin onto Glyder Fawr and then Y Garn – complete with Brocken Spectre. Sunday was a trek up Pen Llithrig y Wrach (the Slippery Peak of the Witch). While the walking was excellent, the trip was most notable for the sieved custard experience on the Saturday evening.
